The Continental Chess Association are running a weekend congress this weekend on ICC, with multiple sections and $4000. All players join a Zoom call and must have a side camera where it can see the player's screen. Many players also have a front camera.
Games are 60 minutes each on the clock. Due to the time zone, this will be in the evening for UK players and round 3 is a little late and I am taking a half point bye.
Although it's an American associate, players can compete worldwide if they buy USCF membership for $20 for the year.
Mark Hebden, British GM is on the entry list. I have played 3 similar events and they are always well run. The entry fee is $85, because of the large prize fund. You can register here: https://www.chessclub.com/cca/january-game-60-on-icc
Alternatively, if you just want to play some Zoom chess games, without a fee, come along to our social Wednesday night sessions on Zoom: https://zoomchessclub.com/Discussion/club-night
